Thank you for your interest in the Country Club of Lansing Caddie Program. Becoming a caddie at the Country Club of Lansing is not only an opportunity for young men and women to earn some money part-time, but also teaches discipline and a good work ethic.
What We Expect
Caddies must:
- Arrive at least 30 minutes before. Some events may require earlier arrival.
- Present themselves in a neat and professional manner, as they are a representative of the Club.
- A white/light colored collared shirt and khaki shorts/pants are required. No jeans, cargo shorts, or t-shirts are permitted.
- Understand the basic rules of golf and golf etiquette (This will be covered in training and in the Caddie Training Manual).
- Maintain a positive and polite attitude.
- Expect to walk approximately 6 miles over the course of 5 hours carrying a golf bag that could weigh up to 40 lbs.
Caddie Training Dates
Candidates must choose one of the following training sessions to attend:
- Monday, May 6: 5 - 7 p.m.
- Monday, May 20: 5 - 7 p.m.
Candidates must attend one training session, pass the Caddie Exam, and be considered a good fit in the Country Club of Lansing Caddie Program.
