Instructor Gary Beaudoin


Gary grew up in Lansing and went to MSU, receiving two degrees in Education. He spent 39 years in the classroom and as a Middle School Principal. Since retiring, he's played pickleball for 10 years and has taught classes for 7 years. Gary and his wife live in East Lansing and have two adult sons who live and work in California.

Instructor Daniel Howard

Daniel is a nationally recognized player and coach. After discovering pickleball in 2014, he fell in love and devoted himself to playing and learning as much as he could about the sport. He played his first tournament in 2015, won gold at 5.0, and since then has played 5.0 and pro level events, winning a gold medal in men's 5.0 at the US Open in 2016. He has won over 50 medals at the 5.0 level and is currently the #1 ranked 5.0 level player age 35+ in the United States. His pedigree as a teacher is extensive, with a degree in exercise science and over 27 years of teaching and coaching sports, the last four fully devoted to pickleball across the country as he leads camps, clinics, and lessons.
